Vivian White, Director of Free Choice Learning, demonstrates how typical street lamps cause problematic light pollution, and how proper shielding can make you safer and protect night skies. She will also demonstrated how different wavelengths of light can offer us clues to the cosmos. Both of these activities are great for museum professionals and amateur astronomers.
