We spoke with Kathy Vivas, an Astronomer who works with the Dark Energy Camera on the Blanco Telescope at CTIO. She does her own research, and also works as a collaborator for the Dark Energy Survey. Kathy is from Venezuela, but has been living in La Serena and working for CTIO for seven years.
